In 2013, I stepped onto the stage for my very first competitive solo, dancing to “I Won’t Give Up” by Madilyn Bailey. Dressed in a flowing, sparkly pink costume, I poured my heart into every movement, discovering that dance would become my greatest passion. This solo marked the beginning of my journey with Celebrity Dance Competition, a place that quickly became my favorite stage to perform on. Celebrity wasn’t just about the competition—it was about the memories made backstage, in the dressing room, and on stage with my teammates. The host, Drew, was a familiar face every year, and I have a photo with him from my first competition to my last, a bittersweet reminder of how far I had come. For my first solo, I earned a gold medal—not the highest score, but still a proud achievement for such an important milestone. That medal holds more than just a score; it represents the start of my competitive dance career and all the growth that followed. Looking back, Celebrity Dance Competition will always be a cherished chapter filled with joy, friendships, and unforgettable moments.
